The Tea Party vs NAACP
First off, one thing that people have to realize about the NAACP, like unions with labor, is that they need discrimination against minorities to exist, otherwise they will become far less relevant.
Secondly, the Tea Party contains racists “members” but the problem arises in their lack of leadership. The movement has no one person that can come out and say “I condemn our fringe elements that are racists”. Sarah Palin did it, but that wasn’t enough for their opponents.
But my interest arises in why the Tea Party “leadership” is even getting involved with a discussion with the NAACP. It appears to me that they are banking off of the idiocy of the NAACP to get the idea of the Tea Party in the Headlines.
I call the NAACP idiots because anyone who calls on a group to do something they do so rarely, condemning and expelling bigots within one’s own ranks, are idiotic.
An academic recently defended that by saying that they have a narrow scope of agenda of advancing African-Americans… but my response to that is the same thing the anti tea Party people are saying about this clown Mark Williams. And that is that whenever a person associated with an group of people does/says something absurd, the entire group gets painted under that thing.
When a celebrated NAACP member says that “white people poisoned water to make black people more stupid” during his celebratory speech, to a cheering crowd of members, the group in its entirety can expect to be tagged as a racist radical organization.
